Overview

'The Queen of Italian Wines'. Nebbiolo on Tortonian marl soils produces wines slightly lighter and more fragrant than Barolo — aged only 2 years (4 for Riserva). Gaja single-vineyard wines — Sorì Tildin, Costa Russi, Sorì San Lorenzo — are among Italy's most expensive.
